The academic life of QEHC is currently organised into two faculties.
Core: This is made up of English, Maths and Science. Head of Core is currently Mrs Griffiths.`
Foundation: This faculty encompasses Geography, Religious Studies, Latin, Modern Foreign Languages, History, Art, PE, Food, Resistant Materials, Drama, ICT, and Music. From September 2011 the Director of Humanities is Mr James Robertson.
Directors of Faculties and Deputy Directors of Faculties serve on the wider college Senior Leadership Team along with the Bursar.
